“You’ll learn more about a road by traveling it than by consulting all of the maps in the world”
Growing up in Tokyo, Japan as a Canadian expat, Brenda began to travel extensively at the gentle age of seven and haven’t stopped since. She has camped on the Northern Shore of Oahu, photographed the Wat Poh in Bangkok and hiked the rocky cliffs of Newfoundland. She and her husband zip-lined through the cloud forests of Costa Rica, danced the Macarena in Beijing and the Okesa on Sado Island. Brenda has sailed a junk through Hong Kong harbor and sipped cafe in the gardens of the Château de Versailles. The adventures go on and on.
Currently in Toronto, Brenda has lived in Vancouver, New York City, Tokyo and Halifax. Brenda has a personal website - Vagabond Poet - dedicated to her adventures in food and travel. Please visit Vagabond Poet to read an extensive collection of food articles; travel journals or to visit Brenda's blog. |
